I like this...I used to be able to get a similar noseslide like this on a curb at my local skatepark but I had to lift my nose a bit and turn and jab it on the curb...I remember it being alot of fun...I can't do them now...I'm slowly progressing again...I've only started getting back on my board again for about a month...
This trick comes and goes for me! I saw Donny Humes of Smelly Curb Zine (Columbus, Ohio) do it at this contest in '88 or '89. It was before boards had much nose so he was riding fakie at the curb and just kind of slapped the tail up there and shifted his weight and slid like hell! We all came home and learned them. I waxed the front of the curb to make the wheels slide!
“I don’t want to see a Frito’s commercial with a skateboarder on it. It’s not in the spirit of skateboarding. We’re not supposed to be in the limelight. We’re supposed to be the scuttlebutt. We’re not supposed to be heroes. We’re supposed to be zeroes. If we look good, we look bad.”
Bill Danforth
"I don't care what people say about me. I'm just out there having fun..."
