Slappy Sunday

Couldn't decide which pic to post so it's a two for one Slappy Sunday this week. Shot DIY on 10 second timer.

Skater Socks.

I Don't Always Ride White Wheels

But when I do, they are Powell oval dragons from Marc's Board Shop.

The Chromoly Truck

The chromoly truck would grind virtually any curb. The grind itself as been described as a "slip grind", that is too say there is little to no resistance. I had a set of G&S Trucks back in 1990 or so and was a big fan of the fact that I could slappy just about any curb in my hometown. For a complete story of the life and fate of the chromoly truck please click here and read "Who Killed The Chromoly Truck?" In the meantime, I've found some San Diego Trucks online for quite a reasonable price, and am considering buying a set. It's either that or I'm going to start riding copers, or grind feelers or whatever you call them.

What Luck? X Fickle Collab Decks MWBC

There were five of these produced by What Luck? and Fickle as part of the MidWest Blue Collar collaboration, each deck with a slightly different graphic. The specs are 9" x 33.75", tapering to 8.5" at the back truck, and a 15" wheelbase with a 7" nose and tail. All I can say is there are 5 lucky skaters out there.
