Rarely Seen

I've been re-learning frontside curb slappies without grabbing the board. This blur was snapped back in 1989 or so at the now defunct City National curb spot.

The lot was full of these curbs and you could do boardslides for days. They don't make curbs, or bony knees, like they used to.

for sure! A good curb was a hot spot back in the day... I think we take it for granted now that there are skate parks everywhere... and what's with all the skate-stoppers they have now?

We used to have a curb like that too... WalMart in Morehead, KY... damn, that takes me back... to college... college sucked, but the skating was great.

Just noticed the Cretin link! Thanks man!

I really need to add some more links...

Thanks guys! Those curbs were the stuff until they destroyed them to make the lot wide open. Good spot, good times. Thanks for lookin'!

Dude I used to skate that spot when I was 14 hanging out at outdoor. City National had the most buttery curbs.
