The Schmitt StixRip Saw 2 in olive stain. Hot! I had one of these in 1989 or so with a big piece of Rip Grip on the nose to clinch my ollie crail snatchers. The top view exposes the rather phallic shape of the skateboard deck, a period piece from the "money bump" era. Yes, there was a time when bumps sold boards. They still do for me.
“I don’t want to see a Frito’s commercial with a skateboarder on it. It’s not in the spirit of skateboarding. We’re not supposed to be in the limelight. We’re supposed to be the scuttlebutt. We’re not supposed to be heroes. We’re supposed to be zeroes. If we look good, we look bad.”
