2nd Annual Sk8 For A Cure
This charity skate event is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2011 in Cincinnati, Ohio at Local Skatepark. Cost is $10 per person and the event will feature free food, live music by L.O.H.E.D. and McRad as well as door prizes, auctions, mini ramp jam, street contest, and an old school game of sk8 for something very special. All proceeds will go to the Cincy/Dayton children's hospital long term children's ward. Check it out on facebook and check back here as I'll be reposting as the date gets closer. I'd love to see something similar around here -- bands + skateboards for a good cause = I'd like to see it.
