Textured Coat Brings Cruiser One Step Closer
Rust-Oleum Stone Spray in gray provides the textured finish of the cruiser deck. The paint is a light gray base with flecks of black and white which give a stony textured finish that resembles concrete or pool coping. You choose.
Scouting several thin carpet types to cover the top. Once the selection is narrowed down to one it's ready to roll.

Period Pieces, Or Signs Of The Times
Tony Hawk Powell-Peralta "Shuffle" board. Same coming as it was going ala the World Industries Vallely "Barnyard".
Lance Mountain with a minimalist graphic.
So... Rocco started World Industries, took Rodney with him, Mike V. too. There was a blink of the eye length time period when the emphasis shifted from the big "5" to the small 105 or so companies that popped up. The objective was to sell as many boards as possible because individual market shares were minimal. And so were the graphics because they changed frequently (monthly, if not more frequent). This was around 1990. Look it up as I'm too lazy to research anything on a Saturday. For more history on this take a look at the interview with George Powell in the latest issue of Juice magazine.
Frankie Hill and Van Gogh's ear.
Lance Conklin "faces".
Cab tear drop "gas tank" model.
