Wet conditions kept me from the skatepark this morning so we took a trip to the library. I found this relic entitled The Complete Book of Skateboarding by Laura Torbet and Allen Brill published back in 1976 by Thomas Y. Crowell for Funk & Wagnalls, New York and in Canada by Fitzhenry and Whiteside Limited, Toronto. It contains all kinds of groovy 1970's era slalom pics as well as how to power slide, up curbie, down curbie, daffy, high jump (now called Hippie jump), etc... I mean if it was done on board in the '70's it's in this book. Even some pool skating.
